Our Story
Hey, I’m Dr. Kieva /kee-vah/
I’m privileged to be the co-founder and CEO of Fertitude
My co-founder, Grace, and I decided to go on this crazy wild ride to build Fertitude together because, like so many women, we’ve been through eventful twists and turns with our own reproductive health journeys. We have seen firsthand how challenging it can be—whether it’s irregular periods, miscarriages, infertility, the side effects of contraceptives —we know the rollercoaster of emotions that come with it all.
Despite training as a medical doctor, it took me years of trial and research to figure out how to best manage my PCOS symptoms. As a young girl, I dealt with irregular periods, and when they did come, they were heavy and lasted for days. Finding answers and a lasting solution was a long, frustrating journey, even with my medical background.
The reality is staggering: it takes over two years to be diagnosed with PCOS; Endometriosis can go undiagnosed for over eight years, and fibroids often don’t disappear even after surgery. One in eight couples struggle with infertility, and the emotional, physical, and financial tolls of these conditions are immense.
Whether it’s the anxiety of trying to conceive, the heartbreak of miscarriage, or the side effects of contraceptives, women deserve access to better care, support, and reliable information.
We knew there had to be a better way to support women through all of this.
That’s why we built Fertitude—not just an app, but a supportive community. We want every woman to have access to the right information, the right care, and the right support when she needs it most.
Fertitude helps women track our cycles, manage our health, and connect with medical professionals—24/7. We’re here to be woman’s #1 digital companion and cheerleader on her reproductive health journey.
Of course, it’s not just the two of us. Fertitude is the product of an incredible team that’s as passionate about women’s health as we are. Together, we’re working to make sure no woman feels alone or in the dark when it comes to her body.
